The MaxG Optimized Light Handpiece

Introducing the MaxG™ - The Power of Optimized Light™

Optimized for Clearing Vessels, Vascular Lesions, and Pigmented Lesions

MaxG

The MaxG offers superior vessel and pigment clearance that goes beyond single-wavelength lasers.

MaxG offers superior closure of the larger, deeper facial vessels with Palomar's unique combination of Dynamic Spectrum ShiftingSM  and dual-band filters - which provides more uniform heating across the entire diameter of larger vessels .

And with Palomar's patented advances in pulsed light performance, your clients can experience a comfortable, no-downtime treatment on their way to a refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.

Benefits of MaxG:

Comparing a pulse dye laser vs. MaxG optimized light:
The MaxG is superior to a pulsed dye laser in its ability to coagulate deeper vessels, offering more complete clearance of deep facial vessels than ever before.

Delivering dual bands of wavelengths to selectively target the absorption peaks of hemoglobin and preferentially heat blood in the presence of melanin, the MaxG offers superior closure of the larger, deeper facial vessels with Dynamic Spectrum Shifting - which increases the concentration of near-infrared light with longer pulsewidths to provide more uniform heating across the entire diameter of larger vessels.

The MaxG's Dynamic Spectrum Shifting increases the concentration of near-infrared light with longer pulsewidths.

In comparison to non-optimized pulsed light, the MaxG handpiece offers:

  • More energy available across all pulse durations
  • Greater peak power to address challenging small vessels
  • Higher fluences to address mid-to-large-sized resistant vessels

The MaxG is not available on all Palomar systems - please contact Palomar Customer Service to learn more.

Emil Tanghetti - LuxG

"I believe the StarLux 500 with the MaxG handpiece is just as good as - if not better than - modern pulse dye lasers in the treatment of facial telangiectasia."
-Emil Tanghetti, MD, Sacromento, CA
Skin Rejuvenation - Vic Narurkar, MD

"The LuxG's photon recycling and integrated sapphire cooling allow clearance of vessels previously unattainable even with the most sophisticated lasers, with fewer treatments, minimal downtime, and maximum patient comfort."  -Vic Narurkar, MD, San Francisco, CA

Skin Rejuvenation - David Vasily, MD
"The StarLux platform is an integral part of my skin rejuvenation program. The approach of layering technologies like LuxDeepIR, Lux1540 and LuxG gives my patients the best opportunity to improve their skin laxity and dyschromia issues. My study on melasma [with the Lux1540] has shown very promising results on this difficult to treat condition."
-David Vasily, MD, Bethlehem, PA
