Regulatory Affairs Specialist II:
The Regulatory Affairs Specialist II will be responsible for international regulatory approvals and licenses. Coordinate and assist in preparation of IDEs, 510ks, and licenses to various global governmental regulatory agencies by performing the following duties: Assist with International registration submissions, Design Dossier, device license applications and Shonins; Act as regulatory liaison for clinical, research, and development groups to keep regulatory affairs department apprised of research progress; Interact with Clinical Affairs for clinical study IRB submissions and GCP compliance; Experience with technical aspects of product development and manufacturing; Support engineering efforts in the development and design of new products; Keep apprised of potential changes in FDA and foreign country policies as they relate to the business; Assist with labeling, sales and marketing materials, protocols, and publications for regulatory compliance; Draft, coordinate, and manage IDE and 510(k) submissions, amendments, supplements and annual reports; Assist with regulatory aspects of complaint handling; Work in partnership with manufacturing and QA/QC in designing and enhancing quality management systems to facilitate overall regulatory compliance; Assist with internal and external compliance with audit programs and site inspections by Federal and international regulatory agencies; and Other duties may be assigned. Applicant must possess a Bachelor of Science or university program certificate with a Minimum of 5 years' experience in the global medical device industry; Regulatory Affairs Certified a plus; Solid knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA, MDD's and MDR regulations; Experienced individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to read, analyze, and interpret U.S and international regulations and guidelines that apply to the medical device industry, technical procedures, and scientific literature; Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures; and Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Manufacturing Software Engineer:
The Manufacturing Software Engineer will provide engineering support for Manufacturing test fixtures and existing product lines; Responsible for the design, documentation, validation and support of test fixtures used in the manufacture of medical systems; Responsible for providing electrical/software support to existing product lines; Responsible for digital, analog and software design; and Other duties may be assigned. Applicant must possess a BSEE/BSCS with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a product development/manufacturing environment; Experience using the Microsoft Windows API is preferred but not required; Experience with PIC microcontrollers is preferred but not required; Experience with software languages: C, Visual C, and Visual Basic; Experience with I2C and RS232 buses; Experience in software documentation: FMEA, SRS, SDD, STP, SDP, CMP, etc; Experience with software development tools: Editors, Compilers, Debuggers, Version Control Systems, etc; Experience with design tools: Schematic Capture, PCB Layout, etc; Experience with debug and test tools: O-Scopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Function Generators, etc; Experience in the design, debug, and testing of digital/analog electronics; Experience in the design, debug, and testing of software; Ability to utilize standard hand tools and equipment in the process of assembling and disassemble products; Experience with Office tools: Excel, Word, etc; Must be proficient in English, both verbal and written and Ability to lift up to 50lbs a must.
Product Manager:
The Product Manager will develop and implement marketing plan for designated product/market area with the objective to maximize sales and profits; Coordinate product introduction and market exploitation with marketing and sales organizations to ensure maximum penetration of market segment; Identify and develop relationship with industry luminaries and may participate in negotiating with key customers regarding contract terms and conditions; Identify market potential, establish pricing and market strategies, estimate potential sales, introduce market, distribution/channel issues, and manage mature product through phase-out; Define and implement marketing plan including promotional activities, publicizing the product through the press, sales force, and alternate distribution channels; Provide expertise in particular product area and develop strategies and applicable portions of the company business plan; Identify new product requirements and works with research and manufacturing to develop and launch new products; Develop sales training programs and support the sales organization with expertise and account support as needed; Develop manufacturing forecast and manage product and pricing for maximum profitability; Communicate product performance, results and opportunities within the organization and with a wide range of functions and individuals; Provide continuing competitive product and market surveillance and report to management on emerging trends and opportunities; Other duties may be assigned and Up to 50% travel required. Applicant must possess an undergraduate degree, MBA preferred and a minimum of 5 years sales or marketing experience in relevant industry; Proven experience analyzing products, competition, pricing and industry trends combined with development and delivering of competitive messaging and positioning; Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Excellent people skill to interact with staff, and cross-functional teams, and third parties; Ability to work both independently and within a team; Well organized and self-motivated; Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work within specific timeframes and Excellent computer skills with windows: Excel, Microsoft Word and Power Point.
International Accounting Manager:
The International Accounting Manager will support the accounting of multiple international subsidiaries. The current operations are in Australia, Netherlands, Japan, Germany and Spain. This position will support lead accounting position at international subsidiary locations; Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure; Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close; Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information; Supports budget and forecasting activities; Collaborate with the other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives; Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy; Respond to inquiries from the Chief Financial Officer, VP of Finance and Controller, regarding financial results, special reporting requests etc; Work with the Controller to ensure a clean and timely year end audit; Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow; Provide training to new and existing staff as needed; Reviewing standard cost processes, calculations and resulting general accounting postings; Accounting, analysis and reporting related to the full, global revenue cycle; Design and implementation of internal controls covering the revenue recognition methodologies; Maintaining the company's global inventory and revenue accounting policies and processes; Ensure consistent global application of inventory accounting policies and processes; Facilitate related accounting system configuration meets required accounting standards and most efficient to meet business needs; Prepare disclosures for use in external reporting; Assist in related tax and intercompany accounting; Review inventory for impairment; Provide timely analysis and reporting for crisp decision making; Facilitate close collaboration with representatives in sales, billing/credit and information systems functional departments; Work with internal and external auditors in areas of compliance of Sarbanes Oxley requirements; Support special tasks, such as assisting in the support of transactional processing and accounting for the consumer division, as well as other projects and Other duties may be assigned. The applicant must possess a BA in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent with 5 to 7 years of work experience and 5-7 years of progressive responsibility in broad areas of accounting; CPA is a plus; International experience is a plus; Fluency in other languages a plus; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent project management, organizing and planning skills; Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting principles, internal controls and business process for inventory and cost accounting; Proficiency to present complex business issues to all levels of management; Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to lead effectively in a cross-divisional environment; Demonstrated orientation to action in a flexible, fast-paced work environment and Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
Tax Manager:
The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing all US and Foreign tax compliance functions within consolidated groups. The current operations are in the United States, Australia, Netherlands, Japan, Germany and Spain. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day aspects of the Company's tax activities, including FAS 109 income tax accounting and tax provision, U.S. tax compliance including transfer pricing, management and oversight of the foreign tax compliance. This includes supporting the implementation of U.S. international related tax planning as well as special projects; Manage day-to-day reporting for SFAS No. 109, accounting for income taxes and Sarbanes-Oxley; Calculate quarterly and annual tax provisions ensuring all material book/tax differences are properly reflected; Manage day-to-day US and foreign tax compliance matters including transfer pricing and foreign tax credit; Support business in global expansion and provide non-U.S. tax analysis for business decisions; Lead implementation of tax planning, acquisitions and divestitures; Oversee US and foreign income tax audits; Oversee the managing of the non US and foreign tax outsourcing; Coordinate various internal employee tax education activities, including presentations to enable tax planning; Lead preparation and review of U.S. Federal Consolidated Returns including the completion and/or review of various consolidated return elections, statements and attachments; Integrate International tax reporting requirements and the impact into the Consolidated return process; Lead the preparation and review of separate company state/local income/franchise or net worth returns ensuring final returns are complete and correct in all material respects and are prepared consistent with recommended filing positions; Lead the preparation and review of unitary, combined or consolidated state income/franchise returns as assigned; Research technical tax inquiries in a timely manner; Prepare and maintain the tax calendar; Manage and coordinate federal, state and local tax audits; Maintain and enhance technical knowledge of federal, state and international compliance as well as general tax expertise and contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the department; Identify and communicate tax compliance issues requiring research to Senior Management; Assist with the coordination and completion of other tax related projects as needed and Other duties may be assigned. Applicant must have at least a BA in Finance, Accounting or related field with a minimum of 8 years work experience preferably in international tax in "Big 4 Public Accounting", large cooperate experience or in the absence of a degree, fourteen years related experience; 5-7 years of progressive responsibility in broad areas of accounting; CPA or advanced business degree is desirable; International experience is a plus; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent project management, organizing and planning skills; Strong knowledge of US and foreign tax accounting principles and internal controls; Proficiency to present complex business issues to all levels of management; Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment; Strong interpersonal and communication skill; Ability to lead effectively in a cross-divisional environment; Demonstrated orientation to action in a flexible, fast-paced work environment and Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
